This landscape sculpture pictures an imaginary "lost" location and it's a result of the passion for old maps and atlases, with a pinch of sadness that we’re running out of such undiscovered places on Earth.
This landform imagine such remote, little-known location that explorers are dreaming about. On the map, which guides through the terrain, I am giving just a hint: height of the peak or the bay’s name. I believe that the viewer will know the rest of the story himself.
Sculpture is made of clay and resin, each is one of a kind and comes together with a hand-drawn ink map, for orientation and safety of the explorer.
Both sculpture and map are framed in wooden box-frames and can be displayed hanging or standing, together or separately.
Two frames together: 30.2cm(W) x 23cm(H) x 3.7cm(D)
Each frame is 15.1cm(W) x 23cm(H).
