Puis, seconde, faite de manière plus grisée dont seul un morceau de main reste apparent toujours en haut du tableau, à gauche : quatre doigts esquissés se profilent.[...]
Configuration n°5 a été réalisée en trois temps. Un premier passage mêlant des tonalités rouges pourpres et grises dont il ne reste qu’un énorme doigt dressé en haut à gauche et un espace rose. Puis, seconde, faite de manière plus grisée dont seul un morceau de main reste apparent toujours en haut du tableau, à gauche : quatre doigts esquissés se profilent. Une dernière couche vient finaliser cette œuvre en proposant un portrait de profil situé à gauche avec un œil maquillé de bleu, une bouche et un nez présenté en coupe sagittale qui laisse apparaître des cartilages.
