Anja Semling hat bereits in ihrer Zeit als Grafikerin sich viel mit Visualisierungen befasst, im Bereich "Angewandte Kunst". Ihre Leidenschaft für die Malerei war immer latent vorhanden und so begann sie 2012 aktiv damit. Sie malte zunächst im klassischen Stil und verfeinerte die Techniken. Im Laufe der Zeit änderte sie ihren Blickwinkel und begann zu experimentieren mit den Materialien sowie weitere Techniken. Ihre Schwerpunkte liegen thematisch bei Motiven die Lebewesen zeigen: Menschen oder Tiere. Daneben auch die abstrakte Malerei, die sie als Grafikerin insbesondere fasziniert, wegen der Formen und Strukturen. Anja Semlings Bilder haben gemeinsam, dass sie ausdrucksvoll sind. Die Bilder faszinieren durch die Lebendigkeit und Qualität in der Ausführung. Als aufstrebende Künstlerin hat sie bereits viele Fans, die ihren Kunststil mögen.

Die Künstlerin arbeitet in Serien! Und beschäftigt sich abwechselnd mit ihren Themen. So gibt es zum Beispiel die Serie "Wildtiere", wobei jedes Bild das naturalistisch gemalte Tier in Szene setzt, auf einem Pouring-Hintergrund - eine expressionistische Form der Malerei. Weitere Serien:"Besondere Frauen" / "ELEFANTEN" / "Altes Ägypten" und mehr.

Anja Semling ist in Süddeutschland in Freiburg im Breisgau 1966 geboren und lebt seit 2010 in Breisach am Rhein. Bereits als Kind hat sie viel gezeichnet und gemalt.
