Andrei Platounov was born in 1960 in Russia, where he studied theater arts. In 1992 he moved to Brussels and still works as a tenor at the La Monnaie opera house. From a young age he was also interested in drawing.
Andrei Platounov has developed his own style and creates paintings, each of which reflects the world in its own way, colorful, detailed, unusual. Thanks to his paintings, he changes reality to an imaginary world, allowing one to get carried away by surreal clouds in search of beauty and aesthetics.
His works are in private collections in Belgium, France, Russia, Latvia, Hungary, and the Netherlands.
