As the great Salvador Dali once said, “Modern painting is awaiting a revival, otherwise it will perish.” The painting of Anatolі Labkovski is precisely the answer to those forgotten philosophical meanings and mastery of execution. The richness and subtle selection of the color palette of paints, the depth and flight of thought is what can be seen in the new painting of 2024 “Grandfather”. The whole world of a little boy can be read just by looking into his eyes and each of us has personal associations with our distant past. Every person looking at this picture sees himself, this is the magic of art.
