The signs of expression, the wrinkles on the face, tell us about tears,
thoughts, fears, hatred, .... But also surprises, grimaces, joys and smiles.

Painter, illustrator, eclectic artist, curious and experimenter, explorer of spaces, techniques and contexts, Alvise Bon has always shown particular interest in the search for new technical-expressive languages. Always gifted with notable dexterity and predisposition for graphic art, as a good self-taught he does not use traditional techniques, but uses the brush as a tool of his creativity and color as the fruit of alchemy and lacerations. Attentive observer, he reports on the canvases not what you are, but what he sees.
An admirer of artists dear to him such as Guy Denning, Joshua Miels, Solly Smook, he depicts, like them, sensations and states of mind in the splashes of color placed haphazardly on the faces of his canvases, drawing a path saturated with shadows and presences, ancient sufferings that many generations of men and women have lived, consigning their lives to dust.
