Alon Assouline (Sabralon) is a photographer who follows in the footsteps of the mythical Studio Harcourt, heir to the Atelier de Haute Couture Photographique, he produces his Art portraits in the spirit of this craftsmanship and excellence at the French. His lifelong inspirations are Capa, Cartier Bresson, Brassaï and more recently Vivian Mair, but also the Harcourt studio and its famous art portraits.
In 2012 he will devote himself solely to photography. His pictures mainly represent street scenes, New York skyscrapers, as well as the streets of Tokyo, Paris or Jerusalem, his hometown. The streets are for me a source of surprising inspiration. The scenes that make up our daily lives find their climax with their gradations of shadows, lines and light. For several years, he settled in New York to fully live his passion for street photography. This experience allowed him to create a relationship and achieve notoriety in the closed world of New York collectors.
Alon Assouline (Sabralon) is a Franco-Israeli photographer born in Jerusalem in 1975. He grew up and did all his education in France. For more than 18 years he was a bodyguard and close security expert on five continents while being passionate about photography, with a sense of observation probably increased tenfold due to his career. In 2015, some of his photos were sold by the famous Christie's house in New York during a prestigious charity evening. During that same year, private exhibitions were dedicated to me, notably in Tel Aviv and Tokyo, where some of his pictures are on permanent display at the Tokyo Peninsula Hotel. Today, he lives and works in Cannes on the Côte d'Azur.
