If you give each color a certain psychological and spiritual meaning, then each picture painted by the artist can have and has a very deep and interesting meaning.
The surrounding world is filled with a great variety of colors and paints.
Since I am an artist, and the world of color is my natural habitat, you can understand why I sometimes want to dedicate some color to a painting.
Sometimes it doesn't happen right away.
The idea of carrying out a thought ripens gradually, but, breaking out, acquires some contours...
Sometimes a spontaneous explosion of emotions is triggered... Here you can't guess...
I was once asked if it is possible to paint a picture that can evoke an association with the sea or freshness without depicting traditional seascapes?
I thought... (But we never look for easy ways, do we?)...
The answer came by itself when, after mixing the colors, a deep turquoise color shone on the palette...
A blue shore and waves caressing the sand immediately appeared in the imagination...
It was a color capable of calming and energizing...
So, very unexpectedly, two paintings were born in which stormy streams resemble waterfalls. And I thought that, being in any interior, bringing peace, they will harmonize the space.
Being under the hypnotic influence of the color, I wanted to understand it even more, because it is very characteristic of turquoise minerals.
Turquoise is called the "stone of happy women"...
Literally, translated from Arabic ("Firuze") - "stone of happiness".
That is why Charles Tiffany (the leader in the American jewelry trade of the 19th century) began to use turquoise color in the branded design of jewelry.
Subsequently, the turquoise color began to be called the Tiffany color...
After learning about this, it occurred to me whether I could name my paintings: - "THE MAGIC OF COLOR TIFFANY"...
This is a color that, according to psychologists, instantly recharges the soul, relieves fatigue and feelings of loneliness. It gives peace and makes a person ready to face the world again...
