Alina Buslova (Birdie) is a Ukrainian artist who has lived in Dubai since the beginning of the war.

Alina grew up in a small town in eastern Ukraine in the family of entrepreneurs. Her mother is ethnic Greek and her father is Ukrainian.

In the childhood the artist spent a lot of time with her grandparents in the nearby villages. In Ukrainian village, from where was her father, was calmly quiet, people were modest, politely and in Greek village, where her mother was born, was noisy, fun, expressive atmosphere.

Now she is inspired by the memories of those years. She sees how all the images and impressions from there are collaborating in present: Love for wild flowers, fields of wheat, birds in the garden and cozy home white lace curtains.

She paints the village and pigeons are her main characters, for her they are the embodiment of true metamodernism

They swing her pendulum with great force between the themes of war and peace, romance and love stories.
Yes, she is naive and sincere and at the same time ironic and sometimes satirical.
As a child, she experimented a lot with shape and color: she sewed, glued dresses from napkins, made pictures from eggshell, designed soft toys, embroidered, wove jewelry, etc. All the guests of the house were always surprised by her talents, because none of the family had any creative inclinations
Nowadays the knowledge of herself and and the desire to show her feelings to the world gives her the opportunity to create tender arts
