Born in 1974 in Tăşnad, Romania, Alina Aldea is a graduate of the University of Arts in Bucharest, sculpture department. Over the time, the artist has participated in important international events, such as Biennial of Contemporary Art, Mdina, Malta in 2020, the Florence Biennale in 2017 or the International Festival of Experimental Art in Venice in 2016. He has been exhibiting frequently since the late 1990s and early 2000s in various solo and group exhibitions. Her works can be found in important private and public collections and in the permanent collection of the National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC), Bucharest, Romania.
