Hahnemühle Photo Rag satin 310g, 30x45 cm, Portrait
Image 28.50x28.50 cm, Marge 3/8 - 5/8
Retouche, Certif. ARTtrust / 3 scellés + certificat

Objective
I want to make portraits of population, from the younger to the Elder, from all social, cultural, religious origins.

Those portraits would have the particularity to be managed with a framework as Lace, meaning the faces would be “tattooed” or “embellished” by the texture, graphism, graceful elegance of all sort of handcrafted tule, from Portugal and from other countries. The objective will be to obrtain a dense gallery of portraits from people. People would be invited to pose at the time of Events as Markets, sport events, social events, cultural events. The priority would be done to individualism inside the differents layers of the community. Showing the Human wealth, giving energy and pride. I feel that this is an unique opportulnity to widen our vision to embrace the multiples identities of people and bring them into the context of the contemporary life.
Goals
The Target will be to invite People to show their face, simply posing in a “studio” agreed by the government as such. It could be communal areas, cultural sites .

The finality will be an exhibition in a communal site mediatised by Press and possibly itinerante exhibition trough the world.

Solution

As a photographer , I offer my ability to make those portraitures and manage the process. In another hand I ‘ll need 2
Two volunteer assistants: one hostess and one technical stylist assistant.

The success of this project is completely related to communication tools which could be the essential help from the government.

Those social, cultural, festive shootings would take place depending on a public diary established by the ministèrede la Culture..

The framework

Bridal tulle, sheer Curtains,Fishnets would be used as background and forgrounds in order to reveal the very strong link between Human face and Handcraft work.

Tulle, Lace are the metaphor of Skin, Work, time, duration of life
