Alexandra Ovchinnikova, a contemporary Russian artist, earned her degree with honors from the Art College named after Nicholas Roerich in 1999. Since 2000, she has been a distinguished member of the Russian Union of Artists, and in 2011, she joined the St. Petersburg Artists' Union (IFA).

Throughout her career, Ovchinnikova has garnered numerous accolades, showcasing her artistic prowess and contribution to the field. Notable awards include the Presidential Scholar (2004), victories in the festival "From Avant-garde to the Present" (2004, 2005), the bronze medal from IFA (2012), State Scholarship (2014), and the prestigious Gold Medal for the best solo exhibition from IFA in 2015.

Her impactful paintings can be found in various museums across Russia, including Pskov, Petrozavodsk, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, Stary Oskol, and more. Furthermore, Ovchinnikova's works grace the esteemed Hermitage Museum in Vyborg, alongside private collections worldwide.

Ovchinnikova has curated over twenty solo exhibitions and actively participated in group exhibitions and art projects. Notable venues include the State Russian Museum (2013, 2014), the Mikhail Shemyakin Fund (2012), and the "Mitki" Art Center (2012, 2013). Alexandra Ovchinnikova continues to make a significant impact on the art scene, both nationally and globally, through her compelling and award-winning body of work.
