Telin Alexander is a contemporary Russian artist, known for his evocative and deeply resonant works. Born and raised in Russia, Alexander's artistic journey began at the Moscow middle school of arts, where he first discovered his passion for painting. He continued his studies at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after Vasily Surikov, graduating in 1990 with a solid foundation in academic art and a dedication to his craft.

Even during his formative years, Alexander demonstrated a remarkable talent, participating in exhibitions and showcasing his work to the public. Over the years, he has amassed an impressive portfolio, having participated in more than 300 exhibitions, both nationally and internationally.

Alexander's contributions to the art world have not gone unnoticed, as he has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades from esteemed institutions such as the Russian Academy of Arts, the Russian Union of Artists, and the Moscow Union of Artists. Notably, he was awarded a scholarship from the Union of Artists of Russia for his captivating series of children's portraits.

Throughout his career, Alexander has remained committed to artistic exploration and aesthetic inquiry, drawing inspiration from his academic education and the rich traditions of the Moscow school of painting. While his early works leaned towards realism, Alexander's artistic vision has evolved over time, incorporating elements of symbolism and allegory to imbue his portraits with deeper layers of meaning.

One recurring theme in Alexander's work is the portrayal of children, a subject he approaches with sensitivity and insight. His series of children's portraits evoke the spirit of 19th-century Russian provincial life, capturing the innocence and wonder of childhood with poignant authenticity. For Alexander, capturing the essence of the preschool child is of utmost importance, as he seeks to immortalize the moment when the individuality of the "little person" begins to emerge.
