Quest'opera è composta da un disegno a inchiostro su cartoncino e da un oggetto, un vecchio pennino per inchiostro, che completa in modo tridimensionale il disegno. Il concetto è quello di sostituire una parte del corpo, che potrebbe essere censurata, con un oggetto molto somigliante.

Sono nato nel 1986 a Vittoria, ma cresciuto nell’entroterra siciliano. Entrambi i miei genitori sono diplomati all’Accademia di Belle Arti, così ho acquisito e nutrito fin da piccolo un notevole interesse[...]

Sono nato nel 1986 a Vittoria, ma cresciuto nell’entroterra siciliano.
Entrambi i miei genitori sono diplomati all’Accademia di Belle Arti, così ho acquisito e nutrito fin da piccolo un notevole interesse per il disegno e la pittura, studiando e sperimentando da autodidatta varie tecniche.

Nei primi anni del liceo la mia attenzione si focalizza, anche se per poco, verso il disegno dei fumetti, in seguito si avvicina al surrealismo, al cubismo e al purismo.

Nel 2005 ricevo un premio per un disegno sulla pace in un concorso tenuto dall’Unesco.
Nel 2006 disegno la copertina e alcune illustrazioni del libro di poesie “... E tu a trattenermi” scritto da Paolo Sberna.

Dopo aver iniziato l’università in Sicilia nel 2011 decido di trasferirmi a Torino per continuare gli studi di Architettura. Nel 2012, uno dei miei quadri viene esposto nella mostra internazionale TAG INDELEBILI a Bologna.

Dal 2018 al 2020 ho vissuto a Roma, città affascinante per i suoi contrasti, nutrimento per la mia ricerca della bellezza.

Attualmente lavoro come architetto e designer per scenografie, stand e installazioni nell’ambito degli eventi e sono ancora alla ricerca di un luogo da chiamare “casa”.
