Segelcrew bei der Arbeit
Schon seit Kindertagen zeichne ich mit Begeisterung. Zunächst mit Bleistift und Buntstiften auf Papier. Später, als Jugendlicher fing ich an Mopeds für Freunde und Bekannte zu bemalen.
Anfang der 90er Jahre wurde ich auf die Airbrush Technik aufmerksam. Ich besuchte zunächst Messen bzw. Ausstellungen und kaufte mir Bücher namhafter Airbrush Künstler. Es war mir ein Rätsel, wie man mit einer kleinen Spritzpistole solche fantastischen Bilder malen kann. Das machte mich neugierig. Ich wollte mehr darüber erfahren und diese Technik erlernen. 1994 kaufte ich mir eine Airbrush Ausrüstung und sammelte die ersten Erfahrungen damit. "Airbrush" war ab jetzt mein neues Hobby. Anfangs besprühte ich Tankdeckel, später kamen Helme, Motorräder, Lederjacken und PC Gehäuse dazu. Heute gilt meine Vorliebe dem malen fotorealistischer Porträts.
