Ahmed Omar is an Egyptian artist, born in Cairo in 1960. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1985. He traveled to Italy in 1992 and resided in Rome for a year. He visited museums and art galleries there, visited Italian artists, exchanged experiences and learned different techniques and styles, as well as visiting the city of Venice, watching the Venice International Biennale and getting acquainted with  Art trends from all over the world and benefit from them In 1995, the artist Omar used a new experience in the field of carpet design, not using the traditional form in designing carpets, and dealing with the design as a contemporary art painting, and in the year 2000, he made a new experiment using hand printing on the surface of the artwork and in 2010, the artist mixed graphic art and stencil art in artwork, using different materials in drawing, such as acrylic, oil, and dyes. The artist now lives in Cairo, where he paints completely devoting himself to art.
