Description of the work made by the famous artist Ivan Sigg :

On a large surface of vertical rectangular cotton canvas, the grain of which you can sometimes see, brown / purple materials and lemon yellow materials are displayed. There are slips, scrapings, mixtures, impastos and erasures.
The bright yellow seems to have been passed over a dark brown background still fresh. The materials were probably spread with a spatula or knife in a nervous and carried away way. Brushed white circles highlight some figurative elements:
- A dancing yellow character, with a helmeted profile, fills the 1/4 Right Top of the canvas. Could he be related to a cheerful skeleton from the Mexican dance of the dead? This empty-headed character appears to be struggling with a dark animal, a sort of wolf bird?
- A huge yellow Mexican wrestler seems to fill the lower half of the canvas in the foreground? The wrestler's mask reveals only three holes surrounded to tell the eyes and the mouth.
- In the 1/4 Right Bottom of the canvas, the wrestler's dark arm seems to slap his wide open hand on two small nested heads spade heads?
It is a restless painting, no doubt violent, where events break out simultaneously and both the spectator and the characters do not know where to turn. But taking the time, an understanding arises from plastic accidents and a story eventually takes shape

"Sur une grande surface de toile rectangulaire verticale, dont on voit parfois le grain, se déploient des matières marron / violet et des matières jaune citron. Il y a des glissades, des éraflures, des mélanges, des empâtements et des effacements. Le jaune lumineux semble avoir passé sur un alambic. fond brun foncé frais. Les matières ont sans doute été étalées à la spatule ou au couteau de manière nerveuse et emportée. Des cercles blancs au pinceau mettent en évidence certains éléments figuratifs:
- Un personnage jaune dansant, au profil casqué, remplit le quart supérieur droit de la toile. Pourrait-il être lié à une joyeuse danse mexicaine du squelette mort? Ce personnage au crâne vide semble-t-il lutter avec un animal sombre, une sorte d'oiseau-loup?
- Un énorme lutteur mexicain jaune semble remplir la moitié inférieure de la toile au premier plan? Le masque du lutteur ne montre que trois trous cerclés pour indiquer les yeux et la bouche.
- Dans le quart inférieur droit de la toile, le bras noir du lutteur semble donner une gifle de sa main grande ouverte à deux petites têtes qui se chevauchent? "
