Zakhar Kondratyuk is a contemporary Ukrainian artist. His primary focus is on the revealing of contradictory moments in popular culture and their representation in paintings. After all, eliminating a certain familiar object and placing the scenario in a different setting allows us to perceive the commonplace things from a different angle. These manipulations make it possible to reevaluate the underlying ideas and assumptions of the dominant culture.
Zakhar Kondratyuk was born in 1993, in Ukraine. At the Ivan Trush Lviv State College of Decorative and Applied Arts, he earned a bachelor's degree in sculpting, and at the Lviv National Academy of Arts he earned a master's degree in monumental painting.
