I am a multidisciplinary artist from Ukraine, currently based in Germany. My work represents in different domains — including painting, drawing, illustrations, collage, textile and fashion design.
Since childhood I was fascinated by the fashion industry. When I was 4 years old, I often asked my mother to draw female silhouettes with a felt-tip pen for me to draw my ideas for clothes on top. That was a great joy for me.
Still I didn’t think about making fashion design my profession until the age of 17. Looking back its obvious to me now that my path as a designer began precisely then. I studied fashion design at the Lviv Academy of Arts. Here I started to discover and enjoy art in its many forms.
Additional to my work in fashion design I enjoy exploring ideas by using a variety of different tools and mediums. It is important for me to engage in different projects, to shift the perspective from one discipline to another, so it helps me to be more honest with myself, and create art, both independent creativity and work on commercial projects.
My practice is based on an almost research approach. I love working with color and spontaneous shapes, which viewers, personally, can recognize by association way.
