Wael Hamid
Since 7 years, I was much involved in digital art, and personally, I think that what we have reached in this field today, even if only a replica of what was existing before, it has still a major step added a lot to the digital art movement, and it foretells new values and dimensions could be discovered in future.
I was painting since I was 6, and was encouraged by my father who was a painter too, and may be still remember the odor of the white paper which my father used to buy for me, and how I was attracted to that odor, and followed everywhere it might spread!
When I was 9, in 1972, I joined the High Institute of Ballet in Cairo. But I believe, I couldn't forget painting although, and I kept on painting while I was still in the ballet school.
After 9 years, in 1982 I was graduated from the ballet institute in Cairo, and worked as a ballet dancer in the Cairo Ballet Company for 5 years, but during the 5 years, I joined the Faculty of fine arts in cairo where I studied painting there.
Now! I work in the advertising field, and I worked in many advertising companies since graduating, and although I have not exhibited my artworks so far, but I still keeping on producing art, and still have the faith in achieving my artistic goals.

Our ancient conscious
I think that loving our earth should prevail one day, because from earth, we stemmed like trees. So, the earth is our big biological mother, and since we opened our eyes, we had worshiped everything we had met but the earth.
I think that we will improve our humanity, if we one day did!
In my paintings, I am aiming to express our ultimate humanity, and focusing powerfully on the variety of our feelings and issues which form our evolving existence.
Life is innocent! isn't it? and whatever we had control on it, we still have that part inside us which try to bring us back to our primitive state, when innocence was in its purest.
I think most of the greatest artists did in the past, and we will do in the present and future. I think this is simply because humanity is a never ending state of accumulated experiences, and accordingly, the past is a basic element in our formula.
I think no future without that linking with the past, the past of our ancient conscious, our simple and naive feelings, and the deepest of our humanity, that was born lonely in the shadows of time.
