Faudemer makes figurative sculptures in resin, bronze, and silver nitrate that are influenced by the characters of Babar, The Little Prince, and other childhood heroes. He reinterprets these innocent images and occasionally adds the branding of high-end fashion labels to make social commentary on the state of the modern society.

He gives his character Babolex a brand-name, high-end luxury item to wear, as if to represent a global culture of affluent consumers.
