This series is about memory. I didn’t choose autumn by chance – it shows us how beautiful it can be to let go.
The geometric shapes represent memories: sometimes clearly defined, sometimes fragmented. They emerge, fade, and shift – like thoughts and emotions that accompany us without needing to be held.
The lake is a place of silence for me. There, I listen to the echoes of the past without trying to hold on to them.
With this series, I make my own landscapes of memory visible – somewhere between light and form, nature and memory.

The main source of my artistic exploration is nature, where I find harmony and a deep understanding of life. Based on the concept of Aura of Perception (Auroticity), I create authentic artworks infused with unique energy and emotional resonance. The place where I live is enchanting in its beauty and energy, inspiring me to explore the interaction between humans and nature, the psychology of relationships, self-discovery, and the state of full presence in the moment.
In my works, I focus not only on the external world but also on the landscapes of my inner soul. My pieces reveal not only the essence of landscapes but also delve into the depths of thoughts and emotions, which serve as inspiration for creating new
visual narratives.
My personal experiences of development and transformation form the foundation of my artistic approach. I view change as an opportunity for profound personal growth and the exploration of uncharted aspects of my being. My artistic journey is a continuous metamorphosis, encompassing both the images themselves and the experimental methods of their creation. By exploring the interplay of colour and texture, I create artworks that reflect the richness and diversity of the transformations occurring within my
inner life and the world around me.

This series reflects my search for an inner sense of home and belonging in times of change. Breaks and fragments symbolise the inner conflict between past and future, while semi-transparent layers suggest overlapping memories with the present. The contrast between cool and warm colour tones expresses the struggle between fear and hope, doubt and acceptance.
Abstract natural elements in the work are reminiscent of the connection with nature, which helps to regain inner balance and grounding. The interaction with nature becomes an anchor for me that leads me back to harmony, where I can find support and feel my belonging to something greater than myself.

Biografie
Vera Hoi ist eine zeitgenössische Künstlerin aus Österreich, die für ihre faszinierenden Werke bekannt ist, die akademische Techniken der Ölmalerei mit abstrakter Kunst verbinden. Durch das Studium dieser unterschiedlichen Ansätze verfeinerte Vera ihre Fähigkeiten und entwickelte einen unverwechselbaren Stil, der weltweit das Publikum in seinen Bann zieht.
Im Jahr 2021 wurde Veras Talent in einer Einzelausstellung im Gemeindeverwaltungsgebäude von St. Georgen am Längsee präsentiert. Auch ihre Teilnahme an verschiedenen Gruppenausstellungen hat ihr Anerkennung eingebracht, darunter bemerkenswerte Ausstellungen wie „Earth 2022“ im State Darwin Museum in Moskau und Artbox Project Miami 3.0 während der Art Basel Week 2022 in Florida.
Als Anerkennung ihrer künstlerischen Leistungen erhielt Vera für ihre Teilnahme am renommierten „Luxembourg Art Prize“ 2022 eine Ehrenurkunde des privaten Museums „The Pinacothèque“ in Luxemburg. Ihre Werke schmücken zahlreiche Privatsammlungen in Europa, Amerika und Asien.
