This watercolour is a tribute to the African wild donkey, one of the many critically endangered species. Equus asinus africanus could go extinct for reasons such as hunting, competition with livestock and because of the risk of hybridization with domestic donkeys.
This painting, as well as the one created by Nirvana Keirch, are on sale with all proceeds going to the association Aves France which works to defend endangered species in France.
