Uy Nguyễn is a contemporary Vietnamese painter. He majored in fine arts, but he has a strong passion for both cinematography and illustration. The artist therefore also works as an illustrator and a filmmaker in addition to painting.
His paintings draw inspiration from Berlin, cinema, and fairy tales that are incorporated into a contemporary Berlin setting. His artwork acts as a boundary between the real world and his imaginary one, opening the way for a new series with a bit of dreamy breath.
Uy Nguyễn was born in 1991, in Vietnam. He lives and works in Germany, where he graduated from the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin.
