UNEARTHLY FLICKERING

Maybe that something unexpected,
is coming to begin.
Far on the ocean's frame
are hovering some clouds like fires,
unknown to the skys and weathers.
And from the height is falling
an unearthly flickering
and vanishes without a sound
silently in the sea.

The painting is sold, but as a print
(I recomment on metal or glass) still available.
But the foto is not optimal.

After all, many want something modern on the wall.
They would have it with this avant-garde-picture.
The painter shows thereby that an avant-garde artist
is slumbering in him.

   graduate mathematician, full-time as such until 2004, then fulltime artist

* In part-time:

    * 1983-1986: concert singer of art songs, accompanied by conductor

       Uj of the Wiesbaden Opera, ending with beginning deafness.

    * 1991-2000: Fresco painter: Main work was the giant fresco in the

       new entrance tower of the State Museum for natural history, Mainz.

    * 1993-1995: Founder of a citizens' initiative against the architectural

        disfigurement of Wiesbaden. Big projects in the center were prevented.

 * 2002: Creation of an experimental  program package (in Java) for

       "Random architecture".  Defined  parts of a construction are to be codetermined

       by a random generator. Picture #247 in "art.perret.de" shows an example.

* 2002-now: paintings in a very own style and varied in subjects.

      * techniques:

         These are very special, mostly used: Diluted acrylic colors and pigments form

          controlled puddles on the horizontal plate and dry . This is repeated locally

          several times. Often  contours are finally enhanced a bit.

       *  Story:

           Each picture  is a small individual, described by its "story"  in a lyrical

           diction, whose appeal is unfortunately lost in an automatic translation.

       *   Rule:

            Although most pictures are figurative, the  principle is to show only those

            that would please also as mere abstracts, simply by its structures and forms.

         *  Influenced by:

             late romanticism (also in music) , including Art Nouveau, symbolism and Nabis.

             Later styles I ignored mostly  except of some of the last about 16 years.

          *  Exhibitions:

              Some took place in the own villa and others in an old castle above the rhine.

              Also participation in artfairs and exhibition in a gallery.

I  enjoy the  title of an NAA  ("non acknowledged artist"), certainly an honorable title

in view of all that, what is used to be acknowledged.
