Valérie Berthelom, alias Tinypolis, is a contemporary French sculptor. In her artworks, viewers are free to perceive various interpretations within these composite arrangements. From envisioning an imaginary city hidden beneath a blanket of snow to perceiving themes of abandonment or an industrial wasteland, one may even envision a forgotten city left to suffer from planned obsolescence.
Each artwork serves as an invitation to allow one's gaze to wander and explore. Is it a stadium, or perhaps a factory or refinery? The landscape continuously evolves with shifting shadows and lights, revealing new details that captivate and intrigue.
