Tim Southall
I come from a family of artists so grew up in a lovely creative environment. One of my forebearers was a well known printmaker who transcribed JMW Turner's paintings into engravings in the early twentieth century. I am a graduate of the Royal College of Art, London and the École des Beaux Arts, Paris, I have worked as a professional artist for many years. For the last 18 years I have split my time between Cadiz Province in southern Spain, where I make much of my work, and a large print studio in Birmingham, UK. I am a printmaker who also paints and my working mediums are etching, silkscreen, monotype, and oil on canvas, paper and board. As a figurative artist my interests are fairly traditional and representational. My work covers a broad spectrum of subjects from fluid, evocative landscapes to narrative pieces very much in the printmaking tradition. I strive to make pieces of art that reach in peoples' soul or touch their hearts.

London Original Print Fair
Somerset House, Strand, London, UK
The London Original Print Fair (LOPF) was founded in 1985 to provide an unrivalled opportunity to view and buy original prints spanning five centuries, from top international dealers, publishers and studios. After 35 years at the Royal Academy of Arts, LOPF moved to a new venue in 2022: the elegant galleries at Somerset House in the Strand.
he purpose of the Fair is to promote prints as collectable works of art. Printmaking has been instrumental in the development of art since the 15th century and the wide span of prints on sale at the Fair sets contemporary prints in their historical context. Artists at the Fair often include old and modern masters, from Dürer, Rembrandt and Canaletto to Whistler, Matisse and Picasso. Prints by today's leading artists are also frequently for sale, including works by celebrated printmakers David Hockney, Cornelia Parker, Grayson Perry, Paula Rego and Bridget Riley.
