Professor Thiemo Kastel uses digital technologies such as augmented reality, virtual reality and artificial intelligence for his works. Photographs that have been taken over the years are also added.
The combination of real and virtual worlds is still a young art and can only be used through the use of modern technologies such as smartphones or AR/VR headsets. This is referred to as "mixed reality".
