"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

It is through his travels, his different places of life and his encounters that he draws on to refine his art, always in search of this simplification of the representation of reality. Cherishing the work of Jackson Pollock and sharing his thinking, he defines his painting as "a state of being".
Hugo Territoriale, born in Salta, Argentina in 1988, frequented the studios of great artists such as Juan Francisco Cancio Lazo (Cuban painter), Ciriaco Agostini (Argentine painter) and Luis Soler (Argentine artist and visual artist) from a very young age. His artistic vocation led him to the University of Fine Arts in Tucuman, a leading school in Argentina, where he studied under Leonel Marchesi, an Argentinian artist whose work he admired.
The most prestigious university in Argentina, the University of Cordoba, propelled him to the top of his art studies course in 2010. It was the irresistible desire to discover new lands and continue to nourish his spiritual and artistic soul that led him to leave for Europe.
First the Côte d'Azur, like many painters who preceded him, attracted his gaze: while living there, he never stopped noticing that "the light is incredible". Then Cannes, where he became a portrait painter and caricaturist on the Croisette. His stay in the South of France marked a turning point in his artistic career, as he exhibited for the first time in 2015 in the Grasse region and sold his first paintings.
Little by little, his artistic identity evolved to move towards what he loved and what inspired him: the essential. From a nascent balance between his Latin American and European cultures, his representation of reality changed and his works captured the eye, increasingly taking it towards a symbolic and dreamlike universe.
During an exhibition of his works in Salta, he met with great success, and an adventurer at heart, he decided to go to the Antilles – Guadeloupe – and set up his studio there. The abundant nature of the island and the diversity of the landscapes guided him towards another aspect of his art: more material and always committed. In this sense, he explores the potential of banana fiber by making sheets of 100% natural and local paper on which he revisits Guadeloupean banknotes, touched by the delicacy of the graphics and the historical character of the old currency. It is in one of the most creative places in the city of Pointe-à-Pitre – the Green Hostel –, which is hosting him in residence for two months in 2022, that he presents this second series of paintings produced in the Caribbean territory...
