Alain Tenurb-Geneau is a contemporary French painter. After more than 100 personal exhibitions of figurative painting throughout Europe, the US and Asia, he gained recognition on an international market. In addition to this endeavor, he has been working on a style of painting that evolved from lyrical abstraction for more than 50 years.
He gives his composition and color selection special attention, and when he sweeps the canvas, it gives the impression that his paintings are moving. The artist does not assert any message, reserving for himself the pleasure of painting in the hope that others will also enjoy it for those for whom art must, under any conditions, deliver moments of serenity and well-being.
Alain Tenurb-Geneau was born in 1935, in France. His paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Belgium, Switzerland, the United States, Japan, Luxembourg, and China.
