Biography
Tam Nightingale is a contemporary British artist who lives and works between London, Notting Hill (his place of birth), France and Greece. He works in a multitude of styles including impressionism, expressionism, abstract expressionism, abstraction, realism, pop art, cubism, pointillism, Fauvism, futurism and classicism and is fascinated by the juxtaposition of different influences to produce art that is at once beautiful, original and meaningful. His work has been displayed and collected all over the Globe including Australia, Austria, USA, Ireland, UK, Germany, Canada, Spain, India, Thailand, Greece, Turkey, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Romania, Portugal and France. His work takes him from idyllic rural landscapes, seascapes, to the bustling metropolis, abstract, portraiture and beyond. He is available for commissions.

Je regarde votre images et je les aime. Il sont visble influentes de les grande peintres, mais sur un intelegente et bon maniere. Votre interpreteation d'image de Van Gogh est bon exemple : vous avez tourner image autour de axe verticale, a gouche - adroite, les couples qu'ils joue, sont maintenent les homes sur velo...les couleur sont pareile, construction de forrme aussi. Vous avez faire nouveau image sur base de concept d'image de V. Gogh. S'ils vous faire un nature morte/par ex.pl./Ce serai plus courage, mais vous etez en train d'aprande le maniere, et system de reflechisent. C'ete un bon peinture et non copie. Soyez persistant. I look at your images and I love them. They are visibly influential among the great painters, but in an intelligent and good manner. Your interpretation of Van Gogh's image is a good example: you have rotated the image around the vertical axis, left - right, the couples they play are now the men on bicycles...the colors are the same, construction of form Also. You have made new image based on V. Gogh's image concept. If they make you a still life/for example/That would be more courageous, but you are learning the way, and system of thinking. Dear Spaki, thank you for your kind words and sentiments of encouragement. This painting is indeed inspired by Van Gogh, who may have, in turn been inspired by his friend Louis Anquetin's 'Avenue de Clichy :5pm', which, like my painting is set in Paris. Also, this view holds special significance for me as my wife went to the school by the church in the distance.
