Digital Abstract Impressionist Midwestern Painter Tad Anderson has created this unique, summery composition.

BACKGROUND: The neighbor was older and kindly. She was welcome to use the pool for exercise. The kids got the red ball from Target's curated "Spring Into Summer" collection. They soon got pretty bored with it and left it outside. The long days of summer made the pool a nice place for the family to hang out.

Sometimes, they had sandwiches with Fritos and a pickle.

I am a self-taught digital artist.
I am a Minnesota native.
My observations of Minnesota/Midwestern landscape, topography, geology, prairie, woodland, farmland, lakescape, driftless landform, and architecture on the land, help to formulate almost every piece that I create.
I work in collage-layers of digital imagery, manipulating a series of elements into my compositions. Then I use my self-created hand-drawn digital brushstrokes, to craft each digital painting.
My compositions are color-filled depictions of our region’s landforms and elements. My colors are always drawn from nature... flowering elements, foliage elements, water, sky, soil, seasons of color change. I compare the color abstractions to primitive painting palettes -- extracting raw pigment colors from crushed fruits, foliage oils, indigenous minerals, clay or mud.
