Seller Tad Anderson
"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

BACKGROUND:
Empty bedrooms are would-be sacred spaces, in my mind.
I recall move-in days to a new apartment or to a new home -- that anxious/excited, "what's-next?" feeling. The empty bedroom always seemed the most needy space to me, needing and ready to take on a new life.
I think of move-out days, or of selling my parents' house after they had both passed, or of my own kids' empty bedrooms after they had moved away, or of our own bedroom, after my wife had passed and I sold the house... the last walk-through of the emptiest room in the whole house, the empty bedroom.
2222 McKinley is a place of hopefulness and wonderful things to come. The bedroom faces east. A pleasant morning sun is streaming in. As empty as the space is right now, someone new will love it.

I am a self-taught digital artist.
I am a Minnesota native.
My observations of Minnesota/Midwestern landscape, topography, geology, prairie, woodland, farmland, lakescape, driftless landform, and architecture on the land, help to formulate almost every piece that I create.
I work in collage-layers of digital imagery, manipulating a series of elements into my compositions. Then I use my self-created hand-drawn digital brushstrokes, to craft each digital painting.
My compositions are color-filled depictions of our region’s landforms and elements. My colors are always drawn from nature... flowering elements, foliage elements, water, sky, soil, seasons of color change. I compare the color abstractions to primitive painting palettes -- extracting raw pigment colors from crushed fruits, foliage oils, indigenous minerals, clay or mud.
