Immerse yourself in the world of a passionate autodidact, where words and brushes meet to bring a unique story to life. I am Stéphanie Roussel and, for as long as I can remember, drawing and writing have been my faithful companions, my doors to escape and my means of relieving the stress of everyday life.
As an autodidact, I embraced these two disciplines, with passionate love, exploring their infinite possibilities without constraints or pre-established limits. Every line drawn on a blank page or every word laid out on paper, was an opportunity to express my innate creativity and connect with my deepest self.
Drawing is a universal language for me, a means of communication where images are transformed into emotions, captivating stories and parallel universes. Each pencil stroke, each mix of colors, is an invitation to a visual journey where words are not necessary to tell a story. Through my illustrations, I seek to capture the beauty of nature, the complexity of human emotions and the fragments of imaginary universes that inhabit my thoughts.
Writing, on the other hand, is my magic pen that turns ideas into words and words into reality. Every sentence I compose is carefully crafted, every word chosen precisely to convey complex feelings, thoughts, and concepts. Words are my allies in the quest for clarity and truth, they offer me a way to express my deepest dreams and my most intimate reflections.
These two disciplines complement each other harmoniously in my life. When words struggle to convey an emotion or concept, my illustrations take over, and when images aren't enough to tell a complex story, words step up to fill in the gaps. Together they form a unique creative language that transcends the barriers of conventional communication.
Today, I am proud to say that I can not only tell a compelling story, but also illustrate it with my own artistic creations. Through my work, I seek to inspire others, to take them into imaginary worlds, to offer them a refuge where beauty and emotion intertwine harmoniously. Whether through drawing or writing, I am constantly looking for new ways to explore the limits of my creativity and share my love for these disciplines with the world.
