Chaque couleurs, chaque formes, chaque motifs, tensions, rythmes et forces en jeu… Est non pensé par le conscient pour être pensé hasardeusement par l’inconscient. Hasardeux, peut-être, mais cheminant harmonieusement et musicalement de mon abîme indifférence vers le geste puis la toile. Il y a, il y a toujours un ordre qui, étonnement, finit par se manifester. Et cet ordre, il ne vient pas du « moi », il vient d’ailleurs, justement. « Je est un autre » ? Il y a un autre au-delà du je qui semble être davantage ce je que ce je que je pense être « moi ». Le « moi » est intéressant lorsqu’il est éradiqué, dépassé, par ces forces qui se jouent bien en-deça de lui.
Je ne peins pas le réel, je le questionne à travers le prisme de mes sensations, de mes pulsions et de ma subjectivité ; subjectivité qui n’est rien d’autre que la condensation poreuse, en puissance et singulière, de chaque être. Chaque entité vivante possède son propre être au monde, en ce que chaque être est jeté dans le monde et réceptionne cette jetée d’une manière qui lui est propre.
Je ne dessine ni par ennui ni par nécessité ou distraction. Je dessine pour ce quelque chose là qui, à chaque fois, me guide hasardeusement, fragilement, mais sûrement, et qui pourtant ne mène nulle part.
Il y a quelque chose d’imminemment physique dans ma pratique artistique, rien n’est maitrisé, je ne cherche pas à réaliser une « prouesse ». Je cherche à sentir quelque chose de par là ou je sens quelque chose, un quelque chose qui m’amène à chercher quelque chose. Mais quoi ? La toile m’y amène mystérieusement, même si ce lieu lointain se déployant comme une intuition, est atopique. La toile n’a aucune destination car cette chose que je sens n’est ni matérialisable, ni accessible, ni même dicible. Ce qu’elle dessine, ce qu’elle manifeste, c’est l’ombre de l’impossibilité de cette « chose ». Le rythme en puissance dans les formes et les couleurs ne sont que la suggestion de l’indicible, de l’impensable. Nous butons devant le mur du pensable et l’art s’empare des parois en béton pour tracer la marque du passage de l’être qui s’est approché de cette muraille infranchissable. L’acte créateur, à un certains point et au bout d’un certains temps précieux, ne cherche plus ce qu’il y a au-delà du mur. L’acte se déploie avec puissance justement parce qu’il ne cherche pas ce qu’il y a au-delà de l’impensable. Contrairement à l’artiste, il ne cherche rien, il se déploie sans-pourquoi et accepte, sans le vouloir ou le penser, le vertige infini du mystère. Il s’ouvre et ouvre alors, à cette splendide présence à la Présence, au pied même de ce mur sur lequel beaucoup butent et s’épuisent en tentant de le dépasser. Ceux qui, véhément cherchent à trouver une réponse, finissent par se perdre et par perdre l’essentiel de la vie : la simple présence à la Présence dans lequel l’être et le monde ne font plus qu’un et se déploient dans ce Là archaïque, fondamental et universel.
