Klaus Steigner lives and works in Nurnberg. After completion of the study at the professional school Nurnberg, Studiengang communication Design, and the locking diploma, he began first a free activity as a diagram designer, and works up to the today's day for different clients, in particular also within the illustrative range, within the range of the treatment of pictures, visualization, external wall painting, scenery etc.
The study of the painting, 1991 begun at the academy of the forming arts in Nurnberg it began first with the Professorin Christine bag Colditz and changed then to professor Johannes Grützke, which had come straight from Berlin as a professor to the academy. With him it terminated the study as a master pupil 1997.

Central one topics in its pictures are the area and the reorganisation of the area. Distortions such as space curvatures, stretches and upsettings are emotional due and justified to tension-producing moments in the motive and mental presentness. Temporal-spatial fusions take place and form the basis to considerations to now and to the being, and/or to the meaning of the temporal-linear operational sequence and its accepted illusion. Starting point and suggestion to these arguments e.g. supply motives to it with like the quarry with its rock formations, which shut down ranges and those, in which today one works. Here there is the metaphor of the opened up book, with which with the opened up side of the keys to the entire one noticeably, which is assigned paging out or forgetting again to the one. The been sea, which we came of once, which let the rock formations grow and certification down of it put, how it must have been, for a long time before it us gave. Or were we not nevertheless already to that one - at each time a time witness?
