Biography
Stefano Sandonnini, an artist photographer born in 1967 in Padua, Italy, lives and works in this city. His art is a marriage between painting and technology, acrylic and digital, brush and touch screen. When these elements meet, time seems to stop on the canvas to tell an endless story. This is the whole meaning of "Icons Rewind": the faces, the marks, the poses that have made famous figures of pop culture and international brands come to life thanks to the mastery of contemporary photographer and artist Stefano Sandonnini ( Naj Oleari, Safilo, Cosmopolitan, Esquire). The colors flow, overflow around the black and white silhouettes of Bono Vox and Mick Jagger, as if to stage an evocative "back and forth" between pop art and action painting. A tribute that takes us back to the past of icons to better look to the future.
