"A different realism, sprung from a sudden seeing. Recognizing an other reality, where the ineffable stops the construction of the concept. Not "painting", but moments of free contact with the unspeakable."

I was born in Rome and in this city I began to cultivate both the art of drawing and music. In 1975 I graduated from the II State Artistic High School and for about ten years I have been showing my pictorial works through collective exhibitions and personal exhibitions (Rome, Arona, Varese, Turin, Locarno, Stresa).

In the meantime, the world of music began to present me with some job opportunities (1988). An occupational experience that over time will expand until I become an opera theater professional, a job that has allowed me to travel the world for over twenty years.

In 2010, after leaving the stage, together with Cristina Pietrantonio (opera director) we wrote a book about this strong experience of theatre-music. The book is entitled "The three souls of sound", it was published by Armando Editore in 2013 and had excellent reviews in the cultural magazine "Prisma News" (October 2013) and the scientific magazine "State of Mind" (January 2014).

Precisely in 2010, I had the opportunity to lead a pictorial expression workshop at the "Maso San Pietro" therapeutic community in Pergine (TN). A course that lasted for over ten years and was also told through a series of vast exhibitions of the works created by the participants (Trentino, Veneto, Lombardia).

My initial artistic training, the subsequent theatrical expressiveness matured in the world of music, the years of contact with the spontaneous creativity present in mental distress, is the baggage with which in 2015 I started to deal with visual art again, with communication for Images.

"Sometimes reality reveals itself to us in its essence, through unexpected, random, magical figures. If we want to enjoy them, however, we must not try to objectify them, because they would run away. In the theater when you enter the stage there are no ideas, reflections or concepts. If you have the right means you abandon yourself to the flow and what you feel you can only experience, not explain. This sensitive modus is the same one that has been accompanying me for some years in my newfound role as images promoter".
