Dunkelrot, Orange & Türkis, mit Andeutungen von Magenta waren der Ausgangspunkt für diese Hommage an Mark Rothko, dem Großmeister der Farbfeldmalerei oder auch des abstrakten Expressionismu. Vollendet wurde das Werk 2021 nachdem ich die "Narbe" im roten Feld integrieren konnte - (siehe Detail Fotos). Der senkrechte Schnitt ist ein Hinweis auf die "Narben", die manchmal künstlerische Vorbilder in einer Seele hinterlassen und wenn transformiert dann zu kraftvollen Werken führen.
