Plotinus wrote about an ancient sculptor that he had 'the gift of art'. Stanislaw Lyszczarz belongs to this group of creative people who have received the gift of art. He was constant and faithful to his own world of colors. He painted the rich garden that nature opens to us. Nature was his inspiration, and he found the richness of forms and colors in plain-air. His paintings are personal interpretations of townscapes, landscapes or still life. Concept and impulsion were very important to his creative process. Travels were his passion, and sketches became paintings only after a long gestation.
An electric kiln and a bathtub filled with clay were at the center of his sculptor's studio. He created imposing sculptures for gardens and parks, small animals from the fantastic world, as well as strange organic forms. Nearly all of them belonged to the applied arts.
