Biography
Born in 1959 in Kamensk-Uralsky, Sverdlovsk region. In 1984 he graduated from Sverdlovsk art school. Since 1979 – participant of numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad. He perceives his works as direct allusions and reminiscences of the Silver Age. Favorite Russian historical epochs and styles: Northern Renaissance, European middle ages, Russian Silver Age; Gothic, symbolism, Viennese secession, Russian, Polish and Czech art Nouveau. More than 400 works of the artist are in private collections in Russia, Germany, Sweden, Israel, England, Greece, Spain and the USA.
