It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. And if I imagine that there are trees there, they must be olive trees.
I have painted this thought with the yellow of the light and the blue of the sky, with broad, fluid brushstrokes, with a restrained gesture so as not to overburden the subject.
This painting was done in the studio in January 2023. It is a reworking of several en plein air studies.
The work is painted in oil on paper and then mounted on 100% linen canvas on a custom-made fir frame.
The signature is in the lower right corner.
The painting is protected with a layer of satin acrylic varnish.
The work comes with a thin fir frame that deliberately shows the knots in the wood in order to better relate to the natural subject. The frame is painted transparent white. It is ready to hang.
The painting is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
The title "The olive trees of paradise" is a literal translation of the original Italian title "Gli ulivi del paradiso".

I started out as a portrait painter at a very young age, later shifting my interest to nature. I thus began an artistic journey in which the study of painting merged with the discovery of the world around me, making me discover beauty in every corner. I see nature as a mystery to be unravelled, and painting as the best tool to do so. I dream of being able to create works that, with essential brushstrokes, can tell the story of the nature I am experiencing at that moment, in its entirety. But my paintings are not just landscapes. They are compositions that tell stories, moods or situations transfigured in nature. I paint mainly en plein air, using oil colours. The setting of the work is classical, figurative, perspective. The choice of colours is post-impressionist, with pure colours, often juxtaposed, mixed directly on the canvas. The execution is quick and unhesitating, typically expressionist. There is no drawing, painting is drawing. I like to paint on paper and then transfer to canvas. As a separate discipline, I am also interested in portraiture, which I have always done, also on commission.
