It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

The trees are similar, perhaps born at the same time, in the same place and under the same sky.
But they are divided.
The strong wind stirs their branches and seems to sweep everything away.
I thought of those trees as two people experiencing a division in their relationship, A two brothers, two friends or two lovers with a heart as agitated as that wind.
I wanted to tell this feeling with paint, painting with expressionist, fluid and fast brushstrokes, to preserve the energy and spontaneity of what I was experiencing.
This painting was done en plein air in March 2018 in the Tuscan countryside.
The work is painted in oil on paper, then applied on 100% linen canvas mounted on a fixed fir frame custom-built by the artist.
The signature is in the lower right corner.
The painting is protected by a layer of satin acrylic varnish.
The work comes with a thin fir frame, with the knots in the wood deliberately in view, in order to tie in better with the natural subject depicted. The frame has been coloured in transparent white. It is ready to hang.
The work is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
"Divided" is a faithful translation of the original Italian title "Divisi".

I started out as a portrait painter at a very young age, later shifting my interest to nature. I thus began an artistic journey in which the study of painting merged with the discovery of the world around me, making me discover beauty in every corner. I see nature as a mystery to be unravelled, and painting as the best tool to do so. I dream of being able to create works that, with essential brushstrokes, can tell the story of the nature I am experiencing at that moment, in its entirety. But my paintings are not just landscapes. They are compositions that tell stories, moods or situations transfigured in nature. I paint mainly en plein air, using oil colours. The setting of the work is classical, figurative, perspective. The choice of colours is post-impressionist, with pure colours, often juxtaposed, mixed directly on the canvas. The execution is quick and unhesitating, typically expressionist. There is no drawing, painting is drawing. I like to paint on paper and then transfer to canvas. As a separate discipline, I am also interested in portraiture, which I have always done, also on commission.
