It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. I thought about the rebirth of life and the cycle of all things on earth: life and death, care and abandonment, love and indifference.
Seeing nature, with its stubbornness, wearing its jewels again, showed me once more that life conquers all. And one day someone will take care of these abandoned trees. And there will be love again.
I wanted to capture this feeling in paint, using expressionistic, fluid and rapid brushstrokes to preserve the energy and authenticity of what I was experiencing.
This painting was done en plein air in the Tuscan countryside in March 2017.
The work is painted in oil on paper, then applied to 100% linen canvas and finally mounted on a fixed fir frame
The signature is in the lower right corner.
The painting is protected with a layer of satin acrylic varnish.
The work is presented in a thin fir frame, which deliberately shows the knots in the wood to better relate to the natural subject. The frame is stained brown. It is ready to hang.
The painting is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
"Peach blossoms in the tree graveyard" is a literal translation of the original Italian title "Fiori di pesco nel cimitero degli alberi".

I started out as a portrait painter at a very young age, later shifting my interest to nature. I thus began an artistic journey in which the study of painting merged with the discovery of the world around me, making me discover beauty in every corner. I see nature as a mystery to be unravelled, and painting as the best tool to do so. I dream of being able to create works that, with essential brushstrokes, can tell the story of the nature I am experiencing at that moment, in its entirety. But my paintings are not just landscapes. They are compositions that tell stories, moods or situations transfigured in nature. I paint mainly en plein air, using oil colours. The setting of the work is classical, figurative, perspective. The choice of colours is post-impressionist, with pure colours, often juxtaposed, mixed directly on the canvas. The execution is quick and unhesitating, typically expressionist. There is no drawing, painting is drawing. I like to paint on paper and then transfer to canvas. As a separate discipline, I am also interested in portraiture, which I have always done, also on commission.
