It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish

Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Mein Künstlerdasein fing schon früh an, es wurde mir sozusagen in die Wiege gelegt. Nach meinem Abitur (oder Hochschulreife) mit 17 Jahren in Venlo in den Niederlanden, bin ich 1979 zur Academie der Beeldende Kunsten te Rotterdam gegangen. Mein Studium an der Akademie war leider nur von kurzer Dauer, da ich mich verliebt hatte. Bin wieder nach Venlo zurück und habe mein Studium abgebrochen. Habe dann mit 18 Jahren angefangen im Büro und in der Gastronomie zu arbeiten. Habe sogar noch einige Zeit gemodelt und als PR Assistentin ausgeholfen. Irgendwann war die Liebe futsch und ich alleinerziehende Mutter. Nach einigen Jahren kam eine neue Liebe in mein Leben. Und ein zweites Kind. Für mein künstlerisches Dasein war keine Zeit mehr da. Kinder, Familie, Haushalt, soziales Umfeld, Arbeit und Studium ließen keinen Freiraum mehr für ein, mein künstlerisches Schaffen. Habe das kreative Wesen in mir schlummern lassen. Irgendwann hätte ich auch wieder Zeit gehabt mich der Kunst, meiner Kunst zu widmen...

Diese Zeit fing 2008 an. In Düsseldorf. Da ich ja einen Computer hatte, habe ich immer wieder zwischen meinen unzähligen Bewerbungen durch, gemalt. Und dieses mal nicht in Öl auf Leinwand, sondern in Word. Habe 2009 in Vista angefangen. Etliche weitere Versionen von Windows und Word folgten. Es kam mir eigentlich nicht in den Sinn, ich könnte meine Bilder auch verkaufen, war zu sehr damit beschäftigt einen Job im Büro zu bekommen. Das Letztere hat nicht sein sollen. Aus diversen Gründen...

Habe ab 2021 auch wieder angefangen Acrylgemälden auf Leinwand zu malen. Mache also jetzt beides, digitale Malerei und Acrylmalerei und konzentriere mich jetzt mit 63 Jahren voll und ganz auf meine Malerei. Meine Kunst.
