In questo canto ed in quello successivo Dante affronta il tema del libero arbitrio.
Ho rappresentato questo tema come una scelta tra due vie, due strade opposte, componendo un dittico.
Nel pannello di sinistra abbiamo il cammino che porta alla perdizione.

Dante, Purgatorio, Canto XVI-
In questo canto ed in quello successivo Dante affronta il tema del libero arbitrio.
Ho rappresentato questo tema come una scelta tra due vie, due strade opposte, componendo un dittico.
Nel pannello di sinistra abbiamo il cammino che porta alla perdizione.
Il cammino è oscuro ed impervio, animato da figure che rappresentano, da sinistra verso destra, la lussuria, l'invidia, l'ira e la superbia.
La lussuria si cela dietro una apparente bellezza, solo fisica e carnale, circondata da musica(strumenti a terra) e cibo.
L'invidia ha un serpente che esce dalla sua bocca (la maldicenza) e si rivolge contro i suoi occhi, accecandola. Tiene stretto in mano un sacchetto con i suoi averi ed è già divorata dalle fiamme.
L'ira si strappa le vesti, incapace di controllo fa del male prima di tutto a se stessi.
La superbia, vestita con eleganza si guarda in uno specchio tenuto in mano da un mostro. Lo specchio non dirige lo sguardo verso se stessi ma solo verso i beni esteriori.

Ho studiato tutte le tecniche pittoriche, (tempera su tavola, olio, acrilico, acquerello), le tecniche di disegno Matita, penna, matite colorate, sanguigna ,carboncino, pastelli, mina di piombo), le tecniche di incisione (acquaforte, puntasecca, xilografia, linoleografia, serigrafia), applicando queste tecniche a molti supporti già preparati o preparati da me (tavola, tela, carta, faesite).
Lo studio delle tecniche, dal "libro dell'arte" di Cennino Cennini alla manualistica dell'ottocento fino a quella contemporanea, si è sempre tradotto nella realizzazione di opere pratiche in cui sono evidenti i riferimenti a stilli molto diversi tra loro, dal rinascimento all'astrattismo, da Beato Angelico a Monet.
Ho affrontato molti temi: ritratto, Paesaggio, pittura sacra, ogni volta con tecniche e stili diverso realizzando opere che vanno dall'iperrealismo all'astrattismo, dal surrealismo all'impressionismo.
