Je suis née à Montevideo, j'ai vécu à Paris pendant plusieurs décennies et je suis naturalisée française. J'ai passé de longues périodes à Buenos Aires, six ans à Barcelone et j'habite actuellement à Montpellier. L'expression artistique a toujours été aussi nécessaire pour moi que l'air que je respire. Pendant longtemps je me suis consacrée à la création littéraire ; tous mes livres ont été publiés en Uruguay où j'ai reçu plusieurs prix. Un de mes romans a été traduit en français. Je suis agrégée en espagnol et j'ai été Maître de Conférences à l'Université, en France, pendant plusieurs années.

La peinture est entrée dans ma vie il y a environ quinze ans, naturellement et abondamment, remplaçant la littérature comme expression artistique. En tant que plasticienne, je suis autodidacte, bien que j'aie participé à plusieurs ateliers, tant à Paris qu'à Barcelone, où j'ai appris - le plus souvent par imprégnation - quelques règles et astuces, mais, surtout, où je me suis entraînée, presque sans m'en rendre compte, à m'abandonner à l'intuition, à ce qui palpite quelque part en moi, cherchant à être saisi dans l'ici et maintenant, et dévoilant une émotion, ou alors un message jusqu'alors ignoré.

Après un an et demi de pandémie, j'ai décidé de présenter mon travail publiquement pour la première fois. J'ai déjà participé à des expositions collectives en France, en Argentine et en Espagne (Barcelone et Madrid.
