Sylvain  Possenti est né à Besançon. Il étudie à l'Académie des Beaux-Arts de Bologne (Italie) en 1995-1996, puis obtient le diplôme des Beaux-Arts de Besançon en 1999.

The french artist Sylvain Possenti studied to the Academy of the Fine art of Bologna (Italy) , then obtains the diploma of the Fine art in 1999.


He has elaborated and experimended the theoretical device "Translations" between 1998 and 2009, from the creation of a sculpture of rabbit in plaster, symbolic figure, which he reactivate by transposition and reciprocity (by placing between the ears of the rabbit a tennis ball.)
