Shimon Rottenberg is an avid photographer whose love for photography began in 2004, alongside his career in computer engineering. Today, he devotes more and more time to outdoor photography, mainly capturing landscapes, wildlife and nature in general.
His approach is simple and straightforward - he simply strives to convey, through the lens, what his eyes and heart enjoy seeing, and sharing the experience via his images.
Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Shimon Rottenberg travels abroad at least once a year for photographic trips. His destinations are varied and exotic, such as photographing bears on the Kamchatka Peninsula, cranes and swans on the frozen lakes of the island of Hokkaido in Japan, dreamy landscapes in Iceland and Scotland, polar landscapes in Spitsbergen, and soon in 2023 - Patagonia!
