Biography
Sharon Paddock is a resident of Portland Ct. and works for the US Postal Service. She began painting in 1999 with a watercolor class taught by Chris Piantek through the Middletown Adult Education program. She graduated from Middlesex Community College where she studied drawing with Patsey Bates, and Photography with Chuck Eckerd. Sharon has expanded her interest to include oils and pastels and stained glass. Forever Friends Pet Portraits is paint from your favorite pet photo endeavor she enjoys great success with. ENRON'S DILEMA
THIS 22"X28" OIL PAINTING WON HONORABLE MENTION AT TWO SHOWS IN 2010. THE FIRST WAS THE JUNE SHOW FOR THE EAST HAMPTON ART ASSOC'S SPRING SHOW IN EAST HAMPTON CT. AND THEN AT THE ZILKHA GALLERY SHOW AT WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY IN MIDDLETOWN CT, SPONSORED BY THE ART GUILD OF MIDDLETOWN. IT DEPLICTS THE LANDSCAPE OF CALIFORNIA AND THE MILES OF WINDMILLS NEEDED TO PRODUCE ELECTRICITY FOR AN UNPROPORTIONATE CONSUMER.
